Border Creatures - AWORM

AWORM is an ongoing robotics project within the Border Creatures series. It moves autonomously, guided by its internal components and computational rules. AWORM performs no practical tasks; instead, it engages in continuous self-maintenance and self-evaluation. It does not die—its sole “goal” is to remain operational for as long as possible.

Harry Zhao is a multimedia artist, technologist, and maker with a focus on physical computing, interactive design, and digital media. He has a background in Fine Art, with experience in ceramics, installation, and new media practices. His current work sits on the intersection between the physical world and digital spaces, investigating how technology shapes environments and experiences.

Harry enjoys the process of learning through making, science, technology and phonk music.
